All about the role:
The Senior GL &Tax Accountant is responsible for managing tax matter, supporting accounting processes, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This role includes tax filing, GL review, audit preparation, and control over fixed assets and promotional expenses.
What you’ll do:
- Accounting Responsibilities:
- Verify GL codes and review journal entries for compliance with accounting policy.
- Working closely with Share service team to ensure accuracy and completeness of the general ledger booking
- Review promotion/trade marketing expenses to align with approved plans.
- Maintain fixed asset register and ensure accurate depreciation and control.
- Prepare required documentation and schedules for external/internal audits.
- To improve internal control systems by identifying process gaps and recommend efficiency improvements
- Support cross-functional teams with financial data and analysis
- Tax Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit VAT, WHT, CIT (PND.50/51)
- Ensure accurate tax accounting and compliance with Thai tax laws.
- Coordinate with Revenue Department and tax consultants during audits.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in tax and accounting (Audit firm or MNC background preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, financial reporting, Thai tax laws ,and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Good command of English and Thai, strong Excel and analytical skills.
