Purpose Statement: The Accountant Sr will support and partner with team members in overseeing, processing and reviewing a variety of information and reports to ensure the accurate financial results and reporting accuracy of assets and liabilities for the organization. Will be involved in financial analysis, reporting, and will have leadership responsibilities.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Prepare and complete financial transactions (AR/AP/GL/Fixed Assets/Interco/Address Book/Banking etc.) timely and accurately according to accounting processes and procedures. Respond and resolve operational issues arise and ensure stakeholders' requirements are met.
- Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy, extraordinary or unusual items.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to comply with SOX requirements.
- Prepare weekly and month end journal entries to ensure accurate account balances.
- Mentor and support accounting resources to ensure global processes are aligned and Plexus policies are followed.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s level coursework is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
Other Qualifications:
- Excellent math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Excel
- JDE, FAS and Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Problem solving skills

Physical Requirements:
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
