JOB POSITION : TAX OFFICER
YOUR ROLE: As a Tax Officer you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing work papers, tax returns supporting documents, and managing all tax matters.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Support Business Units/Group legal entities both for day-to-day activities, tax audits, and special project
Ensures all VAT/ W/T returns/ statutory Tax forms are submitted in a timely manner and all information contained is correct
Carry out all regular and specific tax compliance obligations and filings
Prepare tax payments
Estimate and track tax returns
Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
Perform other related duties as assigned
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Minimum Level of Qualification:
Minimum 2 years working experience in related field
Bachelor’s Degree / University graduate in Finance & Accounting or related fields
Professional Skills:
Good command of spoken and written English
Have tax knowledge
Experience in SAP will be an advantage
Knowledge shipping/forwarding industry is a plus
Personal Qualities:
Good interpersonal communication
Accurate
Highly motivated, result-oriented individual
Work well under pressure, be proactive and good problem-solving skills
Team player, positive attitude and hands on style
