Youtap Limited is a global leader in providing white-label technology for digital banking, merchant solutions and financial institutions. We are currently seeking a talented Product Lead to join our team in Thailand.
Youtap's digital wallet and merchant solutions strategy is designed to accelerate the transition from card payments to digital payments using mobile phones and other devices. We empower issuers, merchants, and wallet providers globally. Our solutions have gained traction with banks, financial service providers, merchants, and wallet providers who are white-labeling and deploying our platform in multiple countries worldwide.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with key customers to ensure their needs and strategic priorities are reflected in our product roadmap and implementation plans.
- Gather requirements and feedback from regional sales teams, new and existing customers, and program management. Document these requirements, including customer experience insights, and work with our Product, User Experience (UX/UI), and Development teams to build and implement these initiatives.
- Own the product roadmap and strategy for our digital wallet and merchant solutions, which include mobile apps, web applications, APIs, and back-end solutions, with a strong focus on the Southeast Asian market.
- Collaborate with developer teams using agile methodologies, ensuring effective teamwork, iterative development, and continuous delivery of high-quality digital payment solutions.
- Play a key role in Youtap's strategy to digitize every payment, driving the management and execution of new initiatives that scale and enhance our digital wallet and merchant solutions.
- Analyze key performance metrics and user journeys to drive product enhancements and improve user engagement globally.
- Work alongside the sales team to conduct product demonstrations and support pre-sales activities, ensuring potential customers understand the value and functionality of our solutions.
- Identify and drive additional digital wallet and merchant solution opportunities, from ideation to implementation, as needed by the organization.
About You
- Proven experience in developing, launching, and maintaining digital wallet or merchant solutions.
- A background in a product role within a payments company is a significant advantage.
- Ability to align broad strategic goals with day-to-day tasks, from defining technical requirements to assessing performance metrics.
- Strong ability to break down complex technical details into clear, digestible concepts for customer-facing teams and documentation.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience working across technical, UX design, and business teams.
- Excellent project management capabilities, with exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both written and verbal) with a diverse range of stakeholders, including development teams and regional customer-facing representatives.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience working with local financial institutions, regulators, or mobile wallet providers in Southeast Asia
- Experience with contactless and mobile payments
- Customer-facing mobile application experience (UX/UI)
- Fluent in English and Thai
