ERM is seeking a motivated Energy Senior/Managing Consultant who is interested in delivering/managing a variety of projects covering the full spectrum of ERM’s services. The role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand
ERM delivers a wide range of services, including strategy development aligned with energy consumption analysis, energy audits, feasibility study, policy/regulatory analysis, peer benchmarking, operating model and organizational readiness, and action planning around core sustainability topics such as energy management, climate change/GHG emission reduction and circular economy.
We help clients, including global and local companies in electric and natural gas utilities, Oil & Gas, the chemical sector, manufacturing and process industries, real estate or also financial institutions all over South-East Asia. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to play a key role working with an expert consulting team on leading-edge climate advisory projects for Fortune 500 and privately held clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support the team in Energy engineering services, especially energy management systems review, and implementation, strategic programs and compliance works.
- Be responsible/ lead energy audits and due diligence assessments.
- Assist and support the execution of existing client’s Energy/GHG/Decarbonization programs and support on relevant proposal development.
- Based on experience, may support wider programs led by Sustainable Operation department including water, wastewater and waste management audits and operations improvement feasibility.
- Building effective working relationships within Business Unit and across practice area and also clients.
- Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
- Support ERM Partners-in-Charge, Project Managers and senior members to effectively manage projects.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with clients, ERM employees, and vendors.
- Stay knowledgeable of trends in the field.
Requirement
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar scientific discipline (MSc preferably)
- Total 4-7 years of professional experience with strong knowledge and expertise in Energy Audits, Energy Management Systems, and Decarbonization strategies.
- Experience in ISO 50001, ISO 14064 is a plus.
- High proficiency in English.
- Knowledge and project experience related to water (water audits and water efficiency programs), wastewater and waste management at tertiary and/or industrial levels is also a plus.
- Attention to detail; excellent proofreading/technical editing, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.
