ROLE OVERVIEW
As NSP’s Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing global marketing strategies to elevate our brand presence. You will lead a small team of graphic designers and collaborate with contractors, athletes, and ambassadors to execute impactful campaigns across digital and traditional platforms. This is a hands-on role requiring strategic planning and a passion for action sports, especially Surfing and SUP.
This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand, with the option for remote work for the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to enhance NSP’s global brand visibility and reach, ensuring alignment with our mission and brand DNA.
Digital Marketing:
Plan and manage digital strategies to grow NSP’s online presence, including website, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising campaigns.
Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, ensuring it reflects NSP’s brand ethos and enhances the consumer experience.
Team Management:
Lead, inspire, and coordinate a small team of in-house designers and external contractors (e.g., web designers, photographers, copywriters).
Athlete & Ambassador Relations:
Build and maintain relationships with NSP’s team riders and ambassadors, coordinating content from their competitions, travels, and training to amplify our brand message.
Event & Campaign Management:
Organize and manage campaigns and events, both online and offline, supporting NSP’s presence in the Surf, SUP, and Foil markets.
Performance Tracking:
Continuously analyze and optimize marketing processes and campaign performance to maximize return on investment (ROI).
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams (product development, sales) to align marketing activities with broader business goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Marketing Expertise:
Proven track record of successfully managing and executing marketing campaigns, especially in digital spaces.
Creative Leadership:
Strong ability to lead creative teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
Sports Enthusiast:
Passion for watersports (Surf, SUP, Foil), with a deep understanding of the culture and lifestyle.
Digital Savvy:
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta, social media platforms, email marketing software).
Tech Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Familiarity with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a bonus but not mandatory.
Flexibility & Adaptability:
Willingness to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand, or ability to work remotely with occasional travel as required.
