We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Proposal Engineer to support our spare parts, , service jobs, upgrade, and project proposal activities. This role is critical in preparing competitive and technically sound quotations, coordinating with factories for pricing and lead times, and supporting upgrade project execution. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with liquid process systems and spray dryer technology, and be capable of conducting site surveys, liaising with contractors, and estimating project costs.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for spare parts, service jobs and system upgrades.
- Coordinate with internal teams and factories to obtain accurate pricing, lead times, and technical information.
- Conduct site surveys to gather necessary technical data for proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to obtain installation and modification cost estimates.
- Interpret customer specifications and requirements to develop tailored upgrade solutions.
- Act as Project Engineer during upgrade project execution, ensuring smooth handover from proposal to implementation.
- Support internal sales and service teams with technical insights related to existing plant configurations.
- Ensure all proposals meet company standards for technical accuracy, profitability, and presentation quality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, process technology trends, and equipment upgrades.
- Proposal presentation and discussion with clients and enhance understanding of technical offerings.

Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Processing Engineering
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in proposal engineering, project estimation, or plant upgrades.
- Knowledge and experience in liquid process systems and spray drying technology is essential.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Deep understanding of business and technologies with developed focus on customer needs and fulfilment of customer expectations
- Open-minded and solution oriented, strong problem-solving skills

- Very good communication skills
- Strong customer orientation - ability to engage with customers at different level.
