Job Description:
- Develop and implement capacity planning strategies to ensure optimal capacity resource utilization.
- Analyse forecast demand to identify Pre-build or planning backlog situation in finished goods and capacity resources level.
- Analyse capacity needed to meet constrained/unconstrained demand, Review the result, identify potential bottlenecks and propose solutions to prevent capacity constrained.
- Analyse capacity needed to meet customer order placement, Review the result, collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity to avoid customer order amendment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on planning parameter / optimize capacity to meet forecast demand.
- Analyse changes in planning parameters, assess their impacts, determine necessary actions, and implement mitigation strategies accordingly.
- Ensure production order has been delivered to stakeholder with inventory optimization.
- Review inventory level (FG/Casted part/Spare part), coordinate with scheduling team to optimal inventory.
Review Aging inventory, coordinate with Order management team to verify the forecast prior to disposal. - Identify improvement initiatives to increase capacity planning effectiveness.
- Monitor own performance and address gaps/improvement opportunities.
- Communicate efficient and effective with all stakeholder.
