Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Mai Khao, Thailand. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will assist the Executive Housekeeper in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards.
- Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, assigning tasks to team members
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and quality control
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff, promoting a collaborative and customer-focused environment
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in line with hotel policies and local regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, including staff schedules, inventory reports, and performance evaluations
- Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in hotel housekeeping operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proven track record of effective team management and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
