- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Creative Sourcing, Strategic Partners, and I&PD teams to conceptualize and integrate innovative materials into early-stage product design
- Advanced Materials Research: Lead exploration and analysis of mid- to long-term innovations in materials—particularly metal chains, metal alloys, and surface coating technologies.
- Quality Alignment & Testing: Partner with Quality Assurance teams to design test plans, execute validation protocols, and ensure materials are ready for seamless integration into development pipelines.
- PLM Accuracy: Maintain and verify accurate, up-to-date material data within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to support transparency and efficiency
- End-to-End Material Management: Steer the development and lifecycle management of materials across internal departments and external suppliers—ensuring smooth transition through project phases.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, shared service units, and material suppliers to ensure consistent collaboration and accountability.
- Material Library Development: Create and oversee a structured, accessible, and well-organized physical materials library to support ongoing research and team reference.
- Project Support: Assist the senior manager with project planning, milestone tracking, and performance evaluation to ensure timely execution.
