Our client specializes in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of industrial plants. Their core expertise lies in providing comprehensive solutions for various industries, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, power generation, and general industrial facilities. They undertake projects ranging from initial design and feasibility studies to construction, commissioning, and maintenance in Thailand.
Job Title: Project Manager (Contract)
Location: Map Ta Phut, Rayong, Thailand
Contract Duration: 3 years
Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall planning, execution, and closing of the project, ensuring all phases are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
- Oversee the construction of the double-wall liquid storage tank system, including the concrete outer tank
- Manage and supervise all related piping works, ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
- Direct and coordinate all civil works associated with the tank, including foundations, infrastructure, and site preparation.
- Monitor and control project costs strictly to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
- Approve expenditures and manage financial reporting.
- Ensure all project activities comply with quality standards, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce robust Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on-site.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Effectively allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project status, challenges, and resolutions.
- Manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and other third parties, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Facilitate strong coordination and communication among all project stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular project progress reports to senior management and the client, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in project management for EPC projects, specifically involving cryogenic tanks, LNG tanks, or similar facilities.
- Open to all nationalities.
- Must be eligible to work in Thailand.
- Good Communication in English.
