7+ years in project engineering with a strong focus on PLC, SCADA (preferably Allen-Bradley or Wonderware), and automation systems.
A DAY IN THE LIFE…
- Lead and oversee the planning, design, and execution of electrical and automation (E&A) projects to ensure alignment with business goals and sustainability targets.
- Drive the capital investment process, ensuring robust business cases, risk assessments, and alignment with Nestlé’s Guidelines for Capital Investment.
- Ensure all engineering designs are optimized for cost-efficiency, operational flexibility, and long-term reliability by applying advanced technologies and engineering best practices.
- Coordinate with production, quality, safety, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of E&A systems into factory operations.
- Ensure all projects comply with local and international electrical codes, safety standards, and Nestlé’s internal guidelines.
ARE YOU A FIT?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems.
- Expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and international standards.
- Proficiency in Instrumentation, Process Control Systems, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Understanding of food processing operations and manufacturing IT systems.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
