About the Role
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to oversee and optimise the financial operations of our eCommerce business. You’ll play a critical role in managing financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate unit costs for each SKU, ensuring correct COGS across the business (data integrity & entry).
- Oversee SKU data integrity, including inventory, invoices, pricing, and margins.
- Monitor key financial KPIs, providing insights and identifying areas for improvement.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with Accounts Payable (AP), 3-way matching, and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects that drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- eCommerce or retail background, with experience managing SKUs.
- Work experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), with a strong understanding of the 3-way matching principle.
- Familiarity with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (CPA/CA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial accounting or analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
