Purpose of role:
This role is responsible to help the business maximize revenues, optimized investment and copilot for Blackmores strategic initiatives with stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
Commercial Finance
- Increasing Revenue: Developing strategies to boost sales and revenue, such as identifying new market opportunities or optimizing pricing strategies
- Strategic Planning: Providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team to drive business performance. This involves developing financial models, reports, and analyses to support business objectives
- Cost Management: Reducing costs and improving efficiency by analysing expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
- Profitability: Enhancing profit margins by balancing revenue growth with cost control.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks to protect the company's assets and ensure long-term sustainability.
- Investment Optimization: Maximizing returns on investments for sales and marketing expenses by evaluating and selecting the best ROI opportunities.
Reporting & Controls
- Work with Business to ensure appropriate month end cut-off and submit reports on timeline.
- Work with stakeholder to ensure accuracy in the forecast that impact both demand/supply plan.
Process Enhancement & improvement
- Seek ways to maximise profits in line with corporate objectives with process improvement and cost savvy
Business Partnering
- Working closely with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to review actual results and variances to budgets and forecasts
System Maintenance
- Maintain and develop power BI database to be compass for stakeholders.
- Work closely with analytical team cross regional to merge and sync local and global database
Team Leadership & Contribution
- Demonstrate strong leadership and promote the values, image and role of Blackmores to all team members.
- Review performance of direct reports; guide and motivate to achieve or exceed objectives
- Develop team members by providing opportunities to increase skill set
- Ensure cross functional needs are integrated in business/strategy action plan
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s in finance and/or Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience in similar capacity (MNC/listed company experience preferred)
- Good knowledge and experience of commercial finance
- Experience working with large organisation and with multiple business partners
- Strong verbal and written communication / English literacy
- Proven organisation, leadership and coaching skills
- Willingness to adapt to changes in technologies, regulations, and industry trends is essential
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather inputs for finance efficiency
- Excellent in MS Excel, Power BI, Planning Analytics, Oracle Fusion or other ERP applications
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Aptitude for identifying financial challenges and proposing solutions to improve performance and efficiency
- Strong strategic thinking and executional skills, capable of building for simplicity and attention to detail
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Dynamic, result-oriented and self-motivated
- Has demonstrated the ability to work in a team setting and has contributed to the achievement of a team's success.
