Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end sea freight operations for both export and import shipments, including coordination with airfreight when necessary.

Coordinate with shipping lines to secure competitive rates and space allocations in a timely manner for overseas agents and customers.

Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer and overseas agent inquiries.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure all service requirements are met.

Book vessel space and monitor cargo readiness to ensure timely loading as per the shipment plan and agreed rate.

Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including Bill of Lading (B/L), commercial invoices, delivery orders (D/O), and others, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to responsible parties.

Collaborate effectively with internal departments such as Sales, Finance, and Operations to support seamless service delivery.

Issue pre-advise and return shipping documents to customers within the required timeframe.

Understand the structure of shipping costs and charges to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.

Verify billing and invoicing to and from customers and vendors in line with the companys credit policy to avoid discrepancies or outstanding payments.

Follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs) specific to each customer or shipment.
Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or freight operations role.
-
Solid knowledge of export documentation, processes, and seafreight logistics.
-
Good command of spoken and written English.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
-
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
