Job summary:
Grow cargo business by building strong customer and partner relationships, providing quotes, supporting tenders, and improving service quality.
Job Description:
- Build strong relationships with our customer base and grow the cargo business in Thailand.
- Build relationship with freight service providers to bundle the services to launch the alternative services to both new and existing customers
- Stay present through personal customer visits, meetings, events, or via phone and conference calls;
- Provide quotations and spot rates for customer business, follow-up and close the deal.
- Participate in tenders and Request for Quotations (RFQs) for larger deals. This includes working with Revenue Management and other departments to come up with pricing and operational solutions for the customers.
- Provide market reports to Revenue Management and the Management team, such as pricing, competitors and customer demand.
- Work with Air Operations, Planner and Customer Care and Customer Success to troubleshoot customer complaints and help improve our service.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members
- Other tasks assigned by Superiors
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, business development, logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- 3–5 years of experience in cargo, freight, or airline industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Japanese; JLPT N2 or higher is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in Thai and English.
- Strong track record in customer relationship management and deal negotiation.
- Solid understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape.
- Skilled in working with cross-functional teams, including operations and customer service.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
