We are representing our client in expanding their office presence and currently seeking a Freight Executive to join their Bangkok office
- Respond promptly to local and overseas shipment inquiries via phone or email.
- Communicate regularly with the head office and overseas agent offices, coordinating and updating shipment status.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, NVOCCs, and service providers to foster collaboration.
- Identify and secure new sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, outbound cold calls, emails, and scheduling appointments for sales meetings.
- Source rates from airlines and shipping carriers.
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations for cross-trade and international shipments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
- Prepare shipping import/export documentations, customs permit, and declarations.
- Manage Bills of Lading, invoices related to shipment movements with due diligence.
- Be familiar with airline, container line online declarations, and LCL (Less-than-Container Load) shipments.
- Knowledge of shipment storage and stuffing is an advantage.
- Ensure the successful delivery of services that meet customer expectations and comply with standard operating procedures.
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Process invoices promptly and accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to contribute to organizational success.
