Job Summary
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
2.1 EHS Compliance
- Provide the leadership and direction to develop and maintain an injury -free work place in the Warehousing operation and site-wide.
- Ensure that all Warehousing operators have the appropriate training, qualifications, and understanding necessary to maintain an injury-free workplace, product and equipment safety, and operate in compliance with all IFF environmental regulations and EHS Standards.
- Participate in site Environmental Health and safety programs, behavioral based safety, Hazard Recognition, Hazard identification, Environmental Aspect, emergency response, audits and emergency response activities as required & Sedex compliance
- Ensure education and training warehouse employees in the proper handling of chemicals and raw materials to ensure personnel safety and prevent environmental incidents.
2.2 Quality & Food safety
- Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with Quality & Food safety policies and practices.
- Participate in site quality programs, behavioral based quality & food safety activities, audits and risk base on quality & food safety activities as required.
- Model behaviors that demonstrate a high regard for the quality, food safety, safety and health of individuals.
- Encourage high level of quality & food safety, safety, participation and commitment from others.
- Follow cGMP & HACCP Practice.
2.3 Major Responsibility
- Receive and inspect incoming raw materials and ensure accurate documentation upon arrival at the warehouse.
- Distribute raw materials and semi-finished goods to production areas as required.
- Pick, pack, and distribute finished and semi-finished goods to customers in accordance with shipping schedules.
- Receive and verify finished goods returned to the warehouse for storage or redistribution.
- Maintain inventory accuracy using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system.
- Identify and report any damaged, lost, or missing items to the Warehouse Manager immediately.
- Prepare and submit monthly inventory reports for raw materials and finished goods.
- Conduct cycle counts and ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
- Perform periodic physical stock checks and report findings to the Finance Department.
- Inspect the condition of goods and materials during loading and unloading operations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle loading and unloading activities in compliance with safety and operational procedures.
- Propose and support improvements to warehouse processes and workflows.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Ensure all tasks align with environmental, occupational health, and safety objectives.
- Support the site’s behavioral-based safety program (REACT) and environmental initiatives by participating in observations and providing constructive feedback.
- Follow all safety precautions and ensure equipment and safety devices are used appropriately.
- Handle raw materials and finished goods in compliance with GMP standards.
- Perform regular housekeeping of inventory and storage areas.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
2.4 Administration/Financial
- Ensure required activities in their focus area are carried out with appropriate documentation (Records, MOC’s, WI’s, files, custom & free zone documents etc.)
- Meet commitments for timelines and completeness of all documentation including operational reports, time sheets, personnel records etc.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Diploma or higher in any field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, including control of finished goods and raw materials.
- Demonstrates honesty, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Possesses leadership qualities and a cautious, trustworthy approach to work.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Service-minded with a proactive attitude.
Knowledge / Skills / Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Certified forklift operator with a valid forklift license.
- Able to read and understand basic English.
