Tencent Cloud is expanding its engineering presence in Southeast Asia and is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Cloud Project Manager to oversee and execute small to mid-sized cloud computing projects in Thailand. This role also involves supporting the Program Manager on large-scale initiatives. You will be responsible for project planning, stakeholder communication, risk and resource management, and ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and has a strong background in managing cloud-related or IT infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Create and manage detailed project plans, define scope and milestones, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery aligned with cloud project objectives.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central point of coordination between cloud architects, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to drive project progress and issue resolution.
- Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify risks, manage mitigation plans, and handle change requests to ensure smooth project implementation and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Budget & Resource Management: Track project budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Who We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of proven experience in managing small to mid-scale cloud computing projects (Mandatory requirement).
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Tencent Cloud.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both English and Thai.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
