The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing a network of channel partners (distributors, dealers) to drive growth and market penetration for the Ortho portfolio. This role serves as the strategic link between the organization and its indirect sales force, ensuring partners are trained, supported, and aligned with the company’s sales, compliance, and service objectives. Moreover, Support the Vitros Automation System (VAS) workflow analysis and presentation.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Drive partner sales performance through clear KPIs, incentives, and support tools.
Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors and partners across assigned territories.
Build long-term relationships with partner leadership and field teams.
Monitor pipeline, forecasts, and sales achievements; take corrective action when needed.
Ensure partners are up to date on new product launches, campaigns, and technical updates.
Support partners in tender submissions, quotations, and price positioning
Co-develop annual business plans and monthly/quarterly sales strategies with partners.
Gather insights on competitor activity, pricing trends, and local market challenges.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales, Medical Device Industry
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Possess Can do attitude.
Proficient in English Communication
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in conflict resolution
High emotional intelligence and ability to remain composed in difficult situations
