Role Overview:
As an Activity Account Manager, you'll drive growth and foster strong partnership with attraction owners, tour operators, and things to do suppliers. This role blends technical acumen in API management with a B2B commercial background in the travel sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development: Cultivate and enhance relationships with key partners to expand supply coverage and quality through strategic and technical initiatives.
- Technical Integration: Collaborate with partners to implement and optimize API connections, ensuring seamless connectivity and operational flow.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business strategies to achieve market growth, working closely with internal product and marketing teams and strategic stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and risks, guiding the adjustment of strategies accordingly.
- Performance Management: Monitor partner performance and collaborate on innovative solutions to enhance mutual outcomes.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in account management or similar roles, with a focus on B2B travel or related sectors.
- Technical Skills: Understand high level API management and integration; experience with data analytics tools like SQL, Python, or equivalent is advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Analytical Ability: Proven track record of using data to drive decisions and optimize processes.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the attractions, tours, or activities domain is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the APAC travel market specific to attractions and activities.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
