At AppsFlyer, we’re on a mission to restore trust in marketing measurement - and in SEAPAC (India, Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea), that mission takes on vibrant regional nuances. From Singapore to Seoul to Mumbai, the stories we tell must resonate across diverse markets, languages, and media landscapes.
To drive this narrative forward, we’re looking for a Senior SEAPAC Communications Manager to lead our public relations and communications strategy across the region. As a core member of the global comms org and the regional marketing team, you’ll be the heartbeat of AppsFlyer’s voice in SEAPAC - building media relationships, uncovering local stories with global relevance, and shaping the conversation around marketing, privacy, and measurement.
This role is perfect for a proactive storyteller who can navigate regional nuance, flex between strategy and execution, and move fast with smart intent.
What you’ll do:
- Own PR and comms strategy for SEAPAC, building and executing region-specific plans aligned with global priorities, including budgeting, measurement, and success KPIs.
- Build and deepen media relationships across key SEAPAC markets, including Tier 1 business, tech, and marketing media, as well as niche industry outlets.
- Lead agency partners with clear direction and accountability, ensuring delivery of high-impact results across earned media, thought leadership, and event support.
- Localize the global narrative by translating global campaigns, product launches, and thought leadership into stories that resonate in regional markets.
- Drive local storytelling by spotting trends and collaborating with regional leaders, customers, and partners to shape compelling PR angles.
- Own and manage the APAC President’s thought leadership and executive advocacy platforms, including podcast and earned/owned speaking presence.
- Coordinate executive visibility across the region, securing speaking opportunities, crafting messaging, and managing media engagement for local and visiting spokespeople.
- Manage inbound media queries, awards, and reputation touchpoints in-region with strong cross-functional support and alignment.
- Track performance and ROI, using dashboards and reporting frameworks to assess impact and evolve strategy.
- Support crisis comms, partnering with legal, security, and local leaders as needed with agility, discretion, and clarity.
- Support internal communication efforts across SEAPAC, including planning and delivering of key moments such as quarterly town halls.
What you bring:
- 7-8 years of PR or communications experience, ideally with a blend of in-house and agency roles in B2B tech, SaaS, or marketing technology
- Deep understanding of the SEAPAC media and comms landscape: you know who matters where, and how to localize messaging without losing brand voice
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (bonus for additional regional languages)
- Proven track record in media relations, executive comms, and high-stakes storytelling
- Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution: you can build a regional plan and also write the pitch, brief the exec, and work the story
- Confidence managing senior stakeholders, navigating cultural differences, and driving programs forward across time zones
- Experience with data-driven storytelling and cross-functional collaboration (marketing, product, sales, etc.)
- Familiarity with PR measurement frameworks and reputation tracking tools
- A growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global-first environment
Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools such as Meltwater or Cision
- Being introduced by an AppsFlyer team member
