What makes you remarkable?
- Directly reports to Project Site QA/QC Manager
- Ensure that there is implementation of Project Quality Plan and quality of construction works is implemented in accordance to project’s and internation standards requirement
- Coordinates with project team, construction team, site materials control team and OWNER’s representative for resolving construction’s quality control related issues.
- Manage the site quality inspection for Civil, Building, HVAC, Mechanical, Piping, Insulation, Electrical, Instrument, Structural, Fire Protection and Materials / Equipment preservation
- Ensure that site inspection activities is according to Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for every discipline’s inspection
- Performs daily site patrol surveillance to monitor and observation of quality problems
- Attends quality control’s walkthrough with PMC/OWNER and Sub-contractors
- Witnessing and review testing reports of 3rd party test activities on site and laboratories
- Prepares corrective and preventive actions to close non-conformance report
- Monitoring Quality Control, Materials / Equipment preservation and construction works related training
- Supervise the quality of contractors welding work and carry out proper surveillance and inspection of welding activities
- Ensure contractors welding procedures are submitted and approved before start welding activities
- Implement and maintain a system for the compilation and collation of a comprehensive record of construction quality documentation and certification of all construction work and assist in the satisfactory handover of the completed plant to the Client
- Ensure that the Contractors Quality Control records reflect the items in the inspection and test plan with strict adherence to identified ‘hold points’
- To control, monitoring and closing of construction punch list from walk down and inspections
- Performs internal quality control audit to subcontractors and construction team during construction progressing
- Bachelor’s degree, Diploma degree or related experienced with a min of 5 years in Quality Assurance & Quality Control work
- Extensive Oil & Gas or Petrochemical construction experience with quality control activities
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System training course
- Certified Internal Quality Audit training course
- Certificate of CSWIP, NDE Testing Level 2
- Good coordination with all disciplines and driving ability with each discipline on quality control of the work.
- Ability to identify issues, obtains relevant information, relate and compare data from different sources and identify alternative solutions
- Good English language communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple reporting priorities
- Willing to work extended hours including weekends
