RESPONSIBILITIES
EHS
Follow Evonik’s EHS principles and rules.
Align operations with EHS KPIs and EnPIs to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Ensure awareness that all incidents, including near misses and non-conformities, must be reported, thoroughly investigated, and followed up with tracked action items until closure.
Prepare risk assessment and Environmental aspect for plant improvement and change management.
Sharing incident lessons learned to team in cooperation with EHS department.
Plant Operation
Support Production manager to oversee plant operation, update daily report and perform process troubleshooting to maintain capacity operation as required.
Support plant and trial operation; coordinate Change Management as well as product and process transfers.
Manage and organize Autonomous management activities and collaborate for EPS.
Lead in root cause analysis (RCA) in plant operation (technical and process breakdowns), ensuring comprehensive investigation and resolution. Collaborate with Shift Supervisor to monitor equipment performance and follow up on the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Assist the Shift Supervisor in gathering data for RCA related to product campaigns (trials), customer complaints , and non-conformities.
Study and analyze equipment performance and process conditions to improve efficiency, productivity and cost savings (Continuous Improvement, CIP).
Use, assess and evaluate operational KPIs (Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Technical Availability, plant capacity, downtime etc.) to drive performance improvements.
Gather process parameter data, Lab result to evaluate process performance and identify continuous improvement activities with a focus on reducing losses & waste.
Perform Project Responsible tasks for smaller investments (<20 mio THB).
Lead evaluation for root cause analysis (RCA) for product campaigns, complaints and onon-conformities.
Coordinate the work order / maintenance work and prioritize to carry out to match plant operation.
Support compliance and customer audits.
Prepare and update process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), equipment datasheets, heat & material balances and piping line lists to support changes and/or projects in cooperation with Maintenance department.
Coordinate to train and expand standard program for production team to develop process skills.
Gather Energy consumption information and prepare energy report to submit to authority, resp. in DEnMS (Evonik Energy Management System).
Lead PSSR (Pre Startup Safety Review) with all relevant departments.
Special tasks in alignment with the Production Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical or Industrial Engineering or related field required.
Minimum 2, preferred 5 years prior experience in the chemical process industries.
Strong command in Thai and English language.
Experience in conducting Continuous Improvement projects and leading & motivating teams.
Cooperation and communication with regional and global Production & Technology experts.
Acquire license for energy management.
Optional: acquire license of wastewater control and emission control and prepare report to submit to Government.
