Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Estimating Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. This is an opportunity for you to become a valuable, well-rounded of an experienced team.

What makes you remarkable?
- Report to Estimating Manager with a secondary reporting line to Lead Estimating Engineer
- Response for the production and supervising the production of Civil, Steel & Architecture (CSA) estimate as per project scope/ requirement.
- Prepare the Material Take off (MTO) from drawing or/and work together with Civil Engineer to develop the MTO.
- Coordinate with Subcontracting Group to develop Design and Supply (Installation) cost, Taxes and duties and etc.
- Individual must be able to, at times, work independently to focus on equipment estimate development.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Min 3 years of career experience, preferably in the engineering construction industry but experience in other industries and/or business sectors will be considered.
- Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive with a tenacious and empowering team orientated style. Well-developed written and verbal communications, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills
- Preferably to have some Commercial awareness and/or experience in budgeting, planning, negotiating, organizing or financial control, but not essential.
- Good problem-solving abilities with the ability to multi-task and apply a structured approach to complex situations. Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to win
- English Communications Skills is a must. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate good English Reading, Writing and Understanding Skills
