Sumitomo SHI FW is looking for a
PERFORMANCE/SYSTEM ENGINEER, SERVICE
to work as a member of Services Global System Engineering team in proposal and execution projects.
Are you a future expert at the beginning of your career path, or perhaps an already experienced professional who wants to work in a versatile power plant business environment? We are looking for a Performance Engineer for our Asian Services headquarters in Bangkok. As a Performance engineer you are responsible for dimensioning main and auxiliary parts of the product and defining the design criteria for the equipment. You calculate products predicted performance and guarantee values. You will work in an international team developing the concepts with other technical experts finding the best possible solution to customer needs. We offer an interesting and suitably challenging task as well as an excellent opportunity to be involved in the various stages of tender and implementation projects.
What do we expect from you?
- Master’s degree of energy/process technology, or Bachelor’s degree with suitable work experience
- General knowledge of thermodynamics and heat transfer, boiler technology experience is considered as an advantage
- Good written and spoken skills in English, Thai and other language skills are considered as an advantage
- Good social interaction and teamwork skills
- Innovative attitude and desire to develop into an expert
- Courage to take the responsibility
- Ability to adapt in varying workload and prepared for travelling to customer sites

This job is located in our Bangkok, Thailand office, flexible split between remote work and office presence can be negotiated.
