Overview of the Role
The Parts Operations Manager at Global Fleet Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of parts operations including inventory, import/export processes, and the implementation of marketing strategies to drive spare parts sales. The role requires coordination with internal teams and sub-dealers to ensure operational efficiency and market responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute inbound and outbound spare parts operations.
- Develop strategies to ensure accurate parts inventory management.
- Manage cost-related aspects such as stock and MD (Marketing Development) fund.
- Actively coach and mentor the parts team.
- Collaborate with internal management and Territory Business Managers.
- Engage with external parties including sub-dealers, customers, and suppliers.
- Support and implement improvements in the operational process flow.
- Execute periodic business surveys with sub-dealers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in spare parts management, operations, or supply chain (at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role)
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and parts procurement
- Experience in import/export processes and customs clearance related to spare parts
- Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan and execute marketing or sales strategies for spare parts
- Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure
- Ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels
- Able to work at Thonglor area and able to travel some time to visit customer for parts marketing survey
- Experience working in the automotive or machinery industry is an advantage
Additional Details
The role may require occasional travel, approximately 10% of the time, primarily for business surveys with sub-dealers across the region.
