Job Summary
As a Maintenance Section Manager, you will lead the application of maintenance strategies and tools to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with line managers to drive continuous improvement and achieve key process and factory performance indicators (KPIs) across your area of responsibility.
This is a people management role based in Rayong, Thailand, reporting directly to the Maintenance & Project Manager.
What you will do
As our Maintenance Section Manager you will;
- Ensure equipment reliability by effectively planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians in troubleshooting, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Drive innovation to improve energy efficiency and enhance machine ergonomics, ensuring a safer working environment for operators.
- Manage shift planning and ensure adequate manpower coverage to support continuous operations.
- Participate in the performance appraisal process and contribute to the development of technical staff.
- Lead and support World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance engineering, ideally within a multinational manufacturing environment
- At least 2 years of experience leading and managing a maintenance team
- Strong technical background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
