ROLE OVERVIEW
The Junior Fabric Developer's role is to assist in the fabric development cycle and commercialize work to accomplish Fanatics products range target like price, development, testing, etc. Be functional support to communicate with USA material teams to synchronize requirements in Seasonal demand. They will also coordinate and be the point of contact to connect between fabric suppliers, product development and planning teams for cross-functional collaboration/tasks.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Routinely manage fabric development sample arrangements based on timeline needs as for US and other teams on request.
- Document fabric supplier’s profiles and hangers into library shelf and digital system.
- Track fabric development due dates on demand with suppliers and communicate to related party for status.
- Proactively alert fabric suppliers for photo sample arrangements.
- Organize fabric testing and inform suppliers on protocol and follow up until completion.
- Recording of fabric turnaround time to measure development performance.
- Access and control data input on a regular basis to ensure fabric development details such as material specification, seasonal price, update RMDS in tracker/BOX, etc.
- Communicate with suppliers for amendment and accuracy as needed.
- Determine product integrity of brands segments by assuring testing lists & requirements get along with specific requirements and meet customers and business’s objectives.
- Coordinate with the product development teams to achieve desired objectives for the season, along with time & action calendar deadlines.
- Prepare, send out and follow-up on seasonal development briefs/requests.
- Get involved with process/development streamline to reach efficient channels and offer comments with Senior developer’s consent.
- Assist with setting up meeting calls /presentation tools and facilitate related documents assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Degree in textile/ product development or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in the textile or apparel industry with a knowledge of fabric and color development, inclusive of graphic art/print knowledge a plus.
- Ability to travel independently if needed.
- Proficient organizational, communication, follow-up and presentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability and devotement to working on multiple deadlines and tasks in a fast-paced environment & condition.
- Visible sense of urgency and intuitive sense of priorities & accuracy, with a creative approach to problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to partner cross functionally.
- Experience in PLM and MS Office a plus.
- Fluent in English speaking/ writing and reading is strongly preferred.
- Native in Thai speaking/writing/reading
