Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support to faculty, staff, and students, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Maintain and update the college’s IT systems, including servers, databases, Wi-Fi, and security protocols.
- Manage the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for classrooms and events.
- Support online learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, Google Workspace, Zoom) and provide training or guidance when needed.
- Collaborate with the university’s central IT department to align policies, ensure cybersecurity, and manage system updates.
- Develop and implement IT usage guidelines and SOPs for the International College.
- Monitor and maintain backup systems and ensure data security compliance.
- Assist with website updates and minor content management (WordPress experience preferred).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant IT support or system administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with LMS platforms (especially Moodle) and basic AV system operation.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken).
- Problem-solving mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
- Provide technical support for hybrid meetings and international collaborations.
