The Security Department oversees security, compliance, GRC, and security operations for all Agoda. We are vigilant in ensuring there is no breach or vulnerability threatening our company or endangering our employees in order to keep Agoda safe and protected. This would be a great challenge for those who want to work with the best technology in a dynamic and advanced environment.
This role is a 12-month contract based in Bangkok, Thailand and the succeeded candidate will be assigned to the project.
The Opportunity:
You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of professionals in crisis management, IT disaster recovery, and compliance, all focused on building Agoda’s resilience framework. This is your chance to help shape and operationalize BCP and DR efforts that protect our business and people.
In this Role, you'll get to:
- Assist in creating, updating, and aligning BCP and DR documentation across departments
- Support risk assessments, impact analyses, and scenario planning
- Help organize and coordinate BCP/DR workshops and simulation exercises
- Maintain centralized documentation and trackers for reporting and oversight
- Coordinate and follow up on action items from resilience reviews and audits
- Support incident or exercise response as needed, ensuring project timelines stay on track
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong documentation and follow-up skills
- Basic understanding of BCP, DR, or operational risk management is a plus
It's Great if you have:
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Confluence, or project management tools like Jira
- Experience in resilience, risk, compliance, or IT operations
- Knowledge of industry frameworks such as ISO 22301 or ITIL
- Ability to facilitate or co-facilitate meetings or exercises
