JOB SUMMARY
The Executive, Digital Services for MDS APEC (Asia Pacific, Excluding Greater China) supports digital activation efforts for hotels participating in Marriott Digital Services (MDS) programs. This role assists a portfolio of properties in the APEC region to effectively pull through digital marketing activities that help drive awareness and profitability at the property level. This role is a supporting role and will assist the Senior Director APEC and wider MDS APEC teams to pull-through digital work across Marriott direct digital channels, Online Travel Agents (OTAs) and other digital marketing activities. This role will support projects focused on increasing digital revenue, growing market share and creating a compelling experience that steers customers towards booking on our direct online channels. The Executive MDS APEC will also support the day-to-day planning, communication, and management of the MDS APEC organization.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Marriott Digital Services (MDS) Asia Pacific, Excluding Greater China.
Marriott Digital Services (MDS) is an in-house digital services team. MDS provides hotels with digital services, and functions as an agency-like model within the Global Digital organization.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Education and Experience
- BS/BA degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related major, preferred.
- 1+ year experience (digital marketing experience preferred)
- Passion to learn the digital or hospitality industry
- Written and verbal fluency in English
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Digital Execution
- Support the execution of digital programs and strategy design for APEC hotels participating in MDS.
- Assist leadership teams to review tactic progress against established goals.
- Organize digital trainings, workshops and onboarding plans for hotels and internal teams.
- Design strong presentations, brochures and collaterals that highlight digital activities.
- Track market trends, actions and opportunities across APEC markets.
- Client Service Support
- Manage team meetings, note taking and tracking of follow-up requests.
- Coordinate with HQ teams on roll-out of new products, features and tactics to support the implementation across APEC hotels.
- Assist Digital Consultants with ad-hoc projects when necessary; landing pages, campaign coordination, email newsletters etc.
- Project and Program Management
- Track program enrollments, product adoption and business opportunities for MDS APEC.
- Responsible for oversight of quarterly business review deck creation for leadership
- Support team on exporting data and analysis of APEC business performance across different digital channels.
- Ensure team resources and files are organized and well stored in share folders, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- Facilitate and arrange travel logistics for Senior Director, Client Services MDS APEC.
- Support the onboarding of new team member by arranging access to systems, tools and communication channels.
- Perform other reasonable duties, such as special projects, as assigned by the Senior Director of MDS APEC.
