Data Analyst - Global LCL Pricing

Data Management and Analysis with Excel Automation

• Support to procure, negotiate and maintain LCL rates in our Global Tariff.
• Monitor competitiveness with local offices globally.
• Negotiate rates for Key Accounts or High-volume accounts with co-loaders controlled in the region or by IKAMs
• Analyse tender pricing between rounds and to target as needed by utilizing advanced Excel skills
• In-charge of creating and maintaining Excel templates, which are user-friendly, that streamline our analysis process and achieving our objectives
• Continuously improve the process time of workflow through automation

LCL Strategy

• Monitor the adherence to the global LCL Policy within the countries globally.
• Align with LCL Product Manager and support to manage the gateways located globally by negotiating the gateway operator that will be used (if outsourced), the tariffs (Prepaid & Collect rates) and manage the operational cost structure of the gateways in the Region.

Co-loader Relationship Development

• Build and maintain relationship with global co-loaders.
• Monitor and control co-loaders; coordinate local performance reviews and consolidate performance feedback for review meetings based on guidelines of the regional product management.

• Fresh Graduate or minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in the ocean freight forwarding industry, with a background in ocean freight operations or procurement role.
• Excellent analytical and numeric skills
• Experience in data cleanup, data quality improvement, and data maintenance
• Customer Focused - able to anticipate and identify customers’ needs and expectations.
• Proactive and capable of handling responsibilities.
• Able to communicate well in English both spoken and written
• Advance skills in MS Excel is a must, including advanced knowledge of functions and data analysis techniques
• Well-organized, creative, and meticulous
• Able to multi-task in an intense, fast-paced, high-energy, environment.
• Willingness to travel
