The Role
This position will act as the Owner’s Representative and will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required quality standards and align with the Owner’s expectations. This role oversees the implementation of quality management systems, supports continuous improvement, and drives a culture of excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in quality-related meetings including GC’s quality kick-off, weekly quality reviews, and site coordination sessions.
- Review the General Contractor’s Quality Plan and those of subcontractors, including installation checklists, temporary conditioning plans, and other quality control deliverables.
- Ensure construction issues are logged in the Owner-approved Quality Management tool and resolved per designated Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Escalate critical or overdue issues to the Owner’s project management team and coordinate with stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Participate in inspections such as material testing, field installations, equipment startup, and functional testing.
- Ensure inspections are conducted in accordance with approved quality plans and standards.
- Ensure timely and progressive submission of quality documentation by the GC and subcontractors into designated repositories.
- Review submitted documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Monitor GC activities to ensure proper housekeeping, equipment preservation, and storage procedures are maintained to uphold quality standards.
- Maintain dashboards and metrics for weekly and monthly reporting.
- Provide quality performance data for GC review meetings and support Owner’s reporting requirements.
- Lead Closed Loop Learning sessions and ensure lessons learned are properly documented and followed up.
- Oversee benchmarking efforts, ensuring mock-ups and sample installations are delivered and reviewed per the approved Benchmark List.
- Promote a sustained quality culture focused on “Right the First Time” and minimizing rework and waste.
- Support implementation of TIMWOODS (8 Lean Wastes), ensuring issues are logged and rectified appropriately.
- Monitor GC’s quality inductions, workshops, and quality circle activities.
- Identify and escalate quality incidents that qualify as SQEs to the program team for broader learning and propagation.
- Collaborate with the Commissioning Agent (CxA) and stakeholders to ensure timely equipment installation and startup.
- Attend commissioning meetings and flag any construction or quality issues that may impact commissioning timelines.
- Monitor punch list activities with the Owner and Owner’s Representative, ensuring phased execution aligned with project progress and occupancy requirements.
- Drive the punch list process, although creation and maintenance are led by the GC/AE.
- Attend ad-hoc meetings and provide any additional quality-related services necessary to support project completion and close-out.

Ideally you will have:
- 10 years’ minimum experience in plant maintenance or construction in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Experience in Data Center projects will be considered an advantage
