To sustain the company's growth and expand our services, we are currently looking for an English speaking Claims Team Leader.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the growing Claim Technician team
- Ensure timely and accurate assessment of claims submitted via the app/portal, according to policy terms and conditions.
- Collaborate closely with the London office to prioritize urgent or complex claims, serving as a point of contact between both teams.
- Review claim submissions, verify coverage eligibility, deductibles, exclusions, and determine applicable benefits.
- Support the development of clear workflows for claim allocation and processing as the team expands.
- Assist in the handling or review of more complex claims as needed.
- Monitor quality, productivity, and adherence to internal service standards.
Use internal systems to manage claim statuses, documentation, and reporting
Required Profile:
- University degree in a medical discipline is a strong plus
- 2+ years of experience in medical/life insurance underwriting or claims processing
- Excellent command of the English language, another language, would also be an asset for the role.
- Able to analyze and interpret medical information, product features, research data, and synthesize information.
- Able to adapt and work well in a multi-cultural environment.
- Write clearly and informatively in varying writing styles to meet the needs of different situations.
- Flexible and multi-tasking
- Proficient in using computers, Microsoft Office, Internet, and E-mail
