The Role
This position will act as the Owner’s Representative and will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and execution of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes across the project lifecycle. Ensuring that BIM workflows align with the Owner’s standards, support project coordination, and enable efficient data management, model quality, and digital handover.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead BIM and VDC implementation across the project, providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end Project Model Management and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) setup and administration.
- Act as Owner’s ACC/BIM360 project administrator, coordinating workspace setup and access for AE and GC teams.
- Oversee BIM execution by AE and GC teams, including model transitions and compliance with Owner’s BIM requirements.
- Manage Architect/Engineering team and General Contractor BIM execution, oversee model transition from AE to GC and Provide general guidance and support on BIM related queries on the project as they arise
- Review and approve project AE BIM Execution Plans, review and approve GC project BIM Execution Plan, and work with the Contractor to capture BEP additions / modifications as necessary.
- Participate as required in meetings including but not limited to project Kick-off, page turn, AEC onboarding sessions, BIM issue resolutions and BIM coordination.
- Conduct quality checks on BIM models at key milestones.
- Review and perform QC on the BIM model at project milestones. Monitor GC ongoing construction clash coordination and communicate review comments at meetings.
- Coordinate redline incorporation and maintain meeting records and action item assignments.
- Support development of QTO coordination programs and milestone integration.
- Assist with 4D modeling (schedule integration) and BIM-based construction sequencing.
- Guide GC teams in implementing site reality capture (e.g., drone scans, LiDAR).
- Coordinate with Data Center Operations (DCOps) and CMMS teams to finalize asset templates and extraction.
- Monitor GC’s record model progress and redline updates.
- Facilitate review and approval of record models, shop drawings, and fit-out documentation for project closeout.
- Review GC model updates for compliance with Owner’s VDC/BIM standards and issue corrections as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve BIM standards and processes.
- Collaborate with Owner’s CAD/BIM Managed Service team on IFC and handover processes.
- Review as-built models post-closeout and support ongoing BIM-related needs for operations and maintenance.
- Ensure drawing quality, availability, and version control across CAD/BIM/PDF formats.
- Provide BIM activity reports, BEP review summaries, QA/QC checklists, clash detection reports, and process improvement assessments.
- Deliver custom scripts for automation and data input for dashboards and business intelligence tools.
- Maintain written documentation of meetings, correspondence, monthly status reports, post-mortems, and user guides.
- Communicate global BIM/VDC program updates to local project teams.
- Participate in BIM business reviews with vendors and ensure deliverables are clearly defined and tracked.
- Participate in CAD/BIM purpose site walks and inspections as required
- Review CMMS schedule and asset list
- Monitor record model progress by the GC and manage GC’s redline process on the BIM model
- Facilitate project closeout in the review and approval of AE/GC record BIM model and drawings, Shop Drawings, and Cluster Fit-out Drawings on compliance with Owner’s requirements
- Review model changes and updates from the GC for compliance with Google CAD/BIM standards, and issue rejections with comments for correction by the GC as needed.
- Perform review of as-built models post closeout and post internal DC Operations review and provide ongoing support for all CAN-BIM related questions and needs related to the as maintained set
- Manage maintenance, and updates for Windchill, PDF, and/or Native drawings.
- Responsible for CAD/BIM/PDF drawing Quality, Availability and Version Control

Ideally you will have:
- 10 years’ minimum experience in plant maintenance or construction in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Experience in Data Center projects will be considered an advantage
