Ordinary Life Product Development
- Identify market opportunities, customer segment, trend and feasibility and turn into product ideas/innovation for each specific segment/channel.
- Lead new ordinary life product design and development for each specific market/channel within Risk Framework and PGC framework (Plan-Do-Check-Act) from design to implementation check lists with compliance and risk management team.
- Lead and initiate partner/reinsurer discussion for new ordinary life product innovation design with value added services/tools to create product proposition for product competitive advantage and attractiveness.
- Work closely with sales channels, marketing, actuary, UW as well as data analytic and digital innovation to initiate products and services offering to serve customers and partners of each channel.
- Facilitate and coordinate with relevant departments and outsources to conduct market survey for product development.
Organize and facilitate monthly PGC meeting for new product approval. - Work closely with all relevant departments to ensure 360-degree product readiness before launch e.g., product materials, product training, operation and system readiness, product communication and promotion are in place.
Ordinary life Product monitoring
- Monitor and analyze product performances and develop action plans if see any signal of downtrend to keep products fly as targeted.
- Develop product performance reports and present in Product Governance Committee.
- Organize quarterly product performance review and feedback with Distribution channel to understand voice of distribution (VOD) and voice of customer (VOC) for product modification and innovation.
- Keep balancing product portfolio mix to ensure alignment with RISK Framework as planned.
