Get to Know the Role
We are looking for an Associate, Payment Operations Excellence to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes that benefit both our partners and our business. This role plays a key part in building a robust financial ecosystem that supports our partners in running their operations efficiently. This role reports to Director, Central Operations - Thailand, based onsite at our Bangkok Office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Work closely with partner finance reconciliation and operations teams, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and improve financial processes, focusing on streamlining operations and enhancing overall productivity.
- Collaborate with the Regional Automation Team to design, develop, and implement automated solutions for reports, invoices, and ad hoc tasks, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
- Validate, enhance, and maintain payment policies to align with evolving business needs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously identify, propose, and implement scalable process improvements and automation opportunities to drive operational excellence and cost savings.
- Conduct regular audits and analyses of payment operations to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all processes, procedures, and systems within the payment operations domain.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on payment operations, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.
- Manage and resolve complex payment-related issues, coordinating with relevant departments and external entities to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to payment systems upgrades, integrations, or new product launches, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the payment landscape, recommending strategic initiatives to maintain competitive advantage.
- Support ad hoc requests and special projects as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
