Account Manager (Mobility Provider)PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Account Manager (Mobility Provider) is responsible for the implementation and coordination of Mobility Business Development across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The primary goal will be to support revenue growth by securing and maintaining relevant Mobility content across the APAC region, coordinating business development activities, and assisting key Travel Sellers and the Amadeus sales team with the necessary materials and awareness of the Amadeus Mobility portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobility Content Acquisition
Identify, engage, and secure agreements with relevant Mobility Providers (e.g., car rental, transfers) across APAC.
Coordinate the full sales cycle: from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation, contract finalization, and implementation support.
- Relationship Development – Mobility Content Providers
Build and maintain effective, long-term relationships with Mobility Content Providers.
Ensure service quality and performance standards are consistently met.
Serve as a key liaison between providers and internal Amadeus teams.
Regularly review and improve provider contracts, content, and commercial terms to align with Amadeus’ organizational goals.
- Business Development – Providers & Travel Sellers
Develop mutually beneficial partnerships with Mobility Providers and key Travel Sellers.
Support commercial initiatives that enhance account value and align with strategic objectives.
Guide the development of business plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for key accounts and projects.
- Sales Enablement & Internal Support
Serve as the main point of contact for Mobility within the HMI Sales Team.
Provide the sales organization with training, marketing materials, and strategic insights to effectively promote the Amadeus Mobility portfolio.
- Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and supplier strategies.
Conduct regular portfolio analysis and reporting to support data-informed decision-making and recommend improvements as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, preferably in a customer-facing role.
Proven success in achieving sales targets through a consultative selling approach.
Understanding of the Travel industry; experience in Car rental, Transfers, or Mobility services is beneficial.
Ability to build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work at both strategic and operational levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in product and service presentations.
Self-motivated, committed team player with effective people management skills, adaptability in unstructured environments
Relevant degree or Diploma in Business Management, Sales & Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
