Join our team within Chemtech division in Sulzer Singapore Ltd as Head of TFS to help us take our Chemtech business to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Secure the short and long-term success of Thailand and Vietnam for TFS business of TFS APAC as part of Sulzer Chemtech APAC.
  • Achieves growth and profitability targets of TFS TH. Responsible independently for the Profit and Loss of TFS business in Thailand/Vietnam.
  • Ensures efficient organization and management across the TH/VN area to secure comprehensive market coverage and customer relations
  • Maintaining personal contact to important customers
  • Preparation of mid-range plans and yearly budgets
  • Ensure permanent observation and analysis of the markets, Decision on required strategy for the service jobs, regionally
  • Promotion of teamwork amongst TFS APAC and the teams of other CT organizations within the area (e.g. MTT sales, TAS, GTB etc.)
  • Develop new TFS locations in the region providing local services as applicable and directed by TFS Regional / global Business unit management
  • Implement new service lines as directed.
  • Ensure a system of flexible and optimized usage of human resources (e.g. project managers, superintendents and field service staff); maintaining personal contact with key HR suppliers
  • Ensure reporting in line with CT’s requirements, preparation of monthly MIS
  • Ensure updated economical and effective information technology and systems
  • Enforce standards according to ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 standards
  • Ensure focus in motivation, development and maintaining a personnel strategy of employees, organization and continuity in key functions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from reputed universities.
  • Additional qualification in business/project management desirable

  • Experience in CT’s area of activities.
  • Experience in customer’s areas of activities.
  • On the job experience required for Sales / Marketing.
  • Operations: Solid understanding of operational processes.
  • Handles international, multi ethical and cultural teams.
  • Long term experience over wider range of managerial tasks and functions.
  • Sound project management experience.
  • Solid strategic skills.
  • Adequate education and experience in similar positions.
  • Ability to motivate and challenge direct reports and give direction to the whole organization
  • Good communicator
