About the Team
We are looking for a new colleague in Quality team at our location in Chonburi, Thailand
What you can look forward to as a Supplier Quality Engineer:
- Supplier liaison on quality issues and addressing suppliers’ issues.
- To lead supplier activity during new program management (GDPEP) such as supplier PPAP approval, incoming inspection.
- To lead supplier corrective and preventive action for any quality issue from supplier for both new program and Mass production.
- To lead supplier quality improvement activities.
- To monitory and report supplier performance on monthly basis such as Supplier PPM reports, Supplier Audit report and Supplier corrective actions report and other reports including BCC and DMP metric reports.
- To lead product and process change related with supplier.
- To support all customer activities related to supplier activities such as Warranty analysis, Warranty cost sharing, Continuous improvement activity , CIS etc.
- To coordinate with Purchasing and Supplier Development and perform surveys.
- To coordinate internal and external system audits. To monitor supplier processes using Process Documentation such as Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plant etc.
- To coordinate the development, control, calibration, and usage of inspection gages and equipment including training b
- Report health, safety and environmental accidents/incidents immediately to the supervisor of the affected area.
- Supports and participates in the implementation of Environmental Action Plans or HSE Action plans.
- Quality awareness as well as apply IATF 16949:2016 to the area of work.
Your Profile as a Supplier Quality Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree, or higher in related fields.
- Experience 3 years up in related fields, preferably automotive industry.
- Knowledge of machining and assembly of mechanical devices in high volume manufacturing.
- Fluent in English, Chinese is a plus.
- Able to operate computer.
- Experience in the implementation and maintenance of IATF16949:2016 Quality Standard.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and organized.
