Why we need you
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to help us grow our Omise team. Omise team will be based in Thailand and Japan, building products that will be used by corporate clients around the world. These enterprise services and solutions will vary from project to project but will primarily revolve around eWallets, payment solutions, and platforms.
What you will do
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure relevant and up-to-date information is available to stakeholders.
- Plan, prepare and conduct presentations & product demos for clients.
- Evaluate existing systems capabilities and features with customers’ business needs. Provide the proper system roadmap based on customer business needs.
- Support the development of business cases for new technology initiatives.
- Work closely with business, digital & technology leaders as well as implementation teams to ensure that the technology platform is fully and appropriately leveraged.
- Provide architecture blueprints leveraging business and technology.
- Plan and define high level design of technical solutions and explore potential technical solutions with the teams.
- Act as an advisor for business/technical aspects of solutions to the Engineering team and customer.
- Keep the Architect repository updated.
- Keep the project knowledge center (Confluence) updated.
What you'll need
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in IT developing and providing technical and business solutions.
- Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
- Experience working in the payment industry, including but not limited to eWallet, e-commerce, or ERP industries.
- Great communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to handle stressful, time critical projects and deliver great user outcomes.
