Purpose of the job
We are looking for a Software Engineer to build and implement functional software on DMI (Driver Machine Interface) which is a train’s onboard device for train driver. You will work with other Developers/Testers and Product Owner throughout the software development life cycle. Ensure the product quality, delivery timeline and cost of development. The DMI product will be delivered to projects globally.
Key responsibilities
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
- Integrate software components
- Testing, Verify and deploy software
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
- Communicate with our department to get requirements, feedback and report for product improvement
- Recommend and execute improvements
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Software Engineer, Computer Engineer, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Software Engineering.
- Experience major coding languages such as C++, JavaScript, Python, Embedded System
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Critical safety system mindset.
- Good communication skill, Good team player
- Work package management experience is a plus
- Railway experience is a plus
