YOUR ROLE AS A SENIOR MANAGER, MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
In this role, you will define and execute Thai AirAsia X’s route business with marketing strategy, develop competitive product positioning, launch new routes, build targeted marketing campaigns, and analyze market trends to optimize offerings. Additionally, the manager needs to monitor key performance metrics, adjust insights-based strategies, and enhance the inbound and outbound travelers' experience through innovative service offerings.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Strategic Market Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and develop new route opportunities for business expansion into new countries, with a focus on maximizing Return on Investment (ROI) and meeting demand plans.
Commercial Route Development: Take ownership of new route development, including establishing strategic partnerships crucial for successful business operations in new international markets.
Product & Business Planning: Lead comprehensive product and business planning for Thai AirAsia X's flights to key markets such as Japan, Korea, India, Australia, and more. This includes developing and optimizing marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis of consumer needs, current market trends, and the competitive landscape to inform potential routing decisions and develop robust demand forecasts.
Commercial Delivery & Accountability: Develop and manage the marketing calendar and route strategy, maintaining end-to-end accountability for commercial delivery in target markets.
Integrated Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate closely with regional/local integrated marketing, social media, digital marketing, and creative teams to ensure flight strategies are seamlessly integrated with AirAsia.com's overarching brand and marketing initiatives.
Differentiated Product Messaging: Craft compelling product messaging that highlights unique selling points for new flight offerings, setting them apart in the competitive landscape.
- Revenue Maximization & Brand Enhancement:
- Coordinate with the Network and Revenue teams to establish and optimize routing, leveraging creative channels to maximize promotional opportunities for flights in a cost-efficient manner.
- Drive consistent Share of Voice (SOV) and enhance brand perception to create an exceptional consumer experience through robust funnel strategy development and conversion monitoring.
Local Engagement & Partnership: Engage with local teams and station personnel to gather valuable insights and foster strong partnerships with local marketing and sales teams to ensure successful business operations in each country.
WHO YOU ARE:
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
At least 10 years+ of experience in product marketing, with a focus on expanding new business opportunities and P&L, preferably in the FMCG sector.
Experience in marketing, including marketing campaigns, NPD, B2C business, and high-demand and fast-paced volume.
Strategic thinking, innovative mindset, and logical reasoning with valid rationale.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work well in a team.
High leadership skills with the ability to lead a team.
