Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Defines the strategic 'how to win,' including competitive positioning, value proposition, and resource allocation, while guiding Portfolio Managers in tailoring strategies to products, developing tactical plans, and coordinating execution with operational companies and sales teams.
Drive Commercial Excellence for the trading business, collaborating with local teams to identify the most effective Route to Market, and implement pricing strategies.
Creates annual marketing plans and manages marketing budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives, oversee its execution, and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conducts market research, analysing customer insights, competitor activities, Identifies new business opportunities, and brand repositioning.
Defines product positioning strategies and commercial specifications through pricing, branding, to ensure market fit of new and existing products and services.
Organises, develops, and manages the marketing, product program management, animal species expertise, and services teams to meet business challenges.
Provides leadership in integrating marketing insights with technical product development.
Brainstorm new creative ideas for promoting our products/services while maintaining brand consistency across all marketing channels.
Organises and develops the marketing team to meet business challenges.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Product Management, or a related field.
15 - 20 years of marketing experience, preferably within a related industry and across multi-country/emerging markets.
Strong strategic thinker with the ability to focus on the commercial realisation of concepts/ideas. Skilled in project management to ensure timely execution of short-term plans.
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Culturally sensitive, with a proven ability to work effectively across diverse, international environments.
Strong financial and budget management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
In-depth knowledge of CRM software and project management tools
