Slider Process is performing process development and Slider Manufacturing Supporting, as well as other cleanroom processes development (photolithography& bar assembly & adhesive development etc.). Our team is developing new slider processes or technology to meet future product roadmap requirements and driving to solve problems with thoroughness and determination, develop the tooling, equipment, or technology to support mass manufacturing with the sustainable or better machine quality, reliability productivity.
About the role - you will:
- We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Automation Engineer to lead the transformation of our manual Bar Assembly process into a semi- or fully-automated system using Pick & Place machines and precision adhesive dispensing technologies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, robotics, and process innovation.
- Analyze current manual Bar Assembly processes involving glue-based multi-layer stacking and identify automation opportunities.
- Design and implement Pick & Place automation systems to improve precision, reduce cycle time, and minimize human error.
- Develop and validate adhesive dispensing systems compatible with automation platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process, equipment, and manufacturing engineers) to ensure smooth integration of automation into production.
- Lead equipment selection, installation, and commissioning of automation tools.
- Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and training materials for automated systems.
- Monitor and optimize automated processes for yield, throughput, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield and reduce defects.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including process recipes, work instructions, and reports.
- Support new product introduction and technology transfer from R&D to production.
- Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven approaches (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.)
About you:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Pick & Place systems, robotics, or motion control platforms.
- Knowledge of adhesive dispensing systems and material handling automation.
- Experience in process development and improvement using LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Excel).
- New graduates with strong automation project experience are welcome.

- Able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent teamwork, leadership, organization and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively plan, control and take responsibility for timeline and status update.
- Fluent in English communication, both spoken and written.
- Good presentation skill in Thai, English language
- Good computer skill MS office, auto cad, solid work, jump or other job-related software.
