The Role
This position will act as the Owner’s Representative and will be responsible for overseeing and validating all aspects of project scheduling to ensure alignment with the Owner’s goals, timelines, and delivery expectations. Ensuring that schedules are realistic, optimized, and proactively managed to mitigate risks and delays throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and monitor the contractor’s project schedule to ensure it reflects actual material lead times, delivery schedules, and complies with overall project objectives.
- Independently assess schedules from developers, general contractors, and subcontractors, including alternative scenarios based on resource allocation and acceleration strategies.
- Prepare and track detailed construction schedules optimized for shortest delivery time, factoring in weather conditions and other constraints.
- Aggregate inputs from all contractors to ensure timely initiation of downstream activities and recommend strategies to increase float and reduce project duration.
- Support implementation of Owner-defined scheduling tools, including integrated Primavera P6 schedules.
- Audit schedules to ensure compliance with Critical Path Method (CPM) specifications outlined in the Owner’s Project Manual.
- Incorporate key milestones into sourcing and contracting processes, ensuring all stakeholders commit to and are guided by the schedule.
- Consolidate consultant and contractor schedules to evaluate progress and maintain agreed-upon project milestones.
- Routinely review schedule details to identify risks or flaws that may impact timely completion.
- Lead the project team in resolving schedule-related issues and eliminating delays.
- Provide independent analysis of GC schedules, including milestone variance, six-week lookaheads, risk tracking, performance metrics, and critical path analysis.
- Provide weekly and monthly summary reports documenting construction activities and schedule performance.
- Validate GC progress claims through physical inspections and photographic evidence, ensuring alignment with payment applications.
- Attend weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc project meetings throughout the delivery period.
- Identify and resolve scheduling issues promptly, ensuring transparent communication with the Owner.
- Perform problem-solving tasks for any work behind schedule and recommend recovery actions.
- Ensure vendor delivery schedules are reported accurately and align with approved timelines.
- Provide regular updates to the Owner confirming that deliveries and milestones are being met as planned.
- Attend to any additional scheduling services required to successfully complete and close out the project.

Ideally you will have:
- 10 years’ minimum experience in plant maintenance or construction in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Experience in Data Center projects will be considered an advantage
