Overview:
The Quality and Training Analyst (QA) is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of
quality across all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial setup to post-production audits, with
a strong focus on training both internal and external teams. The QA works closely with project
teams, Data Annotators (DAs), Quality Controllers (QCs), and clients to define quality
standards, implement QA strategies, and ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Project Request:
- Analyze project guidelines (GL).
- Raise queries and clarifications as needed to ensure all requirements are understood before project initiation.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to align on guidelines and expectations.
2. Project Setup:
- Develop detailed guidelines for DAs and external teams as required.
- Test user interfaces (UI) to ensure functionality aligns with project specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive training on project-specific workflows and guidelines for both internal and external teams, ensuring all stakeholders are prepared to meet quality standards.
3. Plan Verification:
- Collaborate with production teams to brainstorm and define project workflows.
- Define key QA metrics and design the overall QA strategy to maintain quality standards throughout the project.
- Ensure external team members understand these workflows and QA strategies through targeted training sessions.
4. During Production:
- Perform quality checks on files to ensure they meet project standards.
- Document assumptions and raise queries to the client for clarification.
- Identify suitable QAers and QCs, oversee their training, and ensure external partners are fully briefed on project guidelines and quality metrics.
- Design and implement the pre-delivery verification process.
- Conduct pre-delivery verifications and ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
- Organize feedback sessions with QCs, production teams, and external partners to resolve issues.
- Participate in project syncs and client calls to discuss quality-related updates and concerns.
5. Manage Change:
- Update guidelines and UIs as needed based on client feedback and project evolution.
- Re-train DAs, internal teams, and external partners on any changes.
- Analyze client feedback to identify areas of improvement.
- Push back on unreasonable feedback when necessary to maintain project integrity.
6. Once the Project is Autonomous:
- Perform regular audits to assess the quality of work performed by QCs.
- Evaluate overall project quality and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct periodic refresher training on project guidelines for both internal and external teams to ensure ongoing adherence to quality standards.
7. Additional Tasks:
- Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Work on continuous refinement of QA processes to better support project objectives and client satisfaction.
- Ensure project guideline training materials are up to date and accessible to all team members, including external partners.

- Ability to train and mentor team members, including QCs, DAs, and external partners.
