What You Will Be Responsible For
The Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok is looking for a Kids Club Attendant. Kid’s for All Seasons Attendants are responsible for the overall entertainment of all children that stay at the Hotel/Resort. This involves caring for all children enrolled in the KFAS program, leading arts & crafts, instructing games, etc. and supervising children at play both in the Activity Center and in outdoor areas including the Lawns and Pool areas. KFAS Attendants are also responsible for the upkeep and organization of the Activity Center and keeping accurate records and forms. This position reports to Kids Club Assistant Manager
Requirements
- Graduate Certificate in teaching/nursery and child care or related fields
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Outgoing personality and at ease with guests
- Prior experience of working with children is a plus
- Ability to swim
- Trained and certified in First-Aid, CPR, Heimlich Maneuver and rescue techniques
Essential Functions
- Prepares the KFAS facility on a daily basis
- Reacts to changes in scheduling, weather or number of children with prepared backup plan
- Arranges for food from Room Service as required by guests
- Keeps track of all supplies and equipment, making sure it is of the highest quality and in keeping with Four Seasons Standards.
- Promotes and up sell activities to guests, customizing where necessary to meet guest needs
- Handles guest requests, complaints, and any special problems keeping Guest Relations Manager well-informed of actions and follow-ups
- Works closely with Kids Club Assistant Manager to ensure proper standards of hygiene, safety and functioning of equipment.
- Provides personalized service for all VIP’s and SA guests on a daily basis.
- Creates and promotes activities to guests, customizes where necessary to meet guest needs
- Works closely with Engineering to ensure proper standards of hygiene and functioning of equipment.
- Ensures the cleanliness of all Kids Club area and coordinates special requirements with Housekeeping
- Handles guest requests, complaints, and any special problems keeping Kids Club Assistant Manager well-informed and ensures proper follow-ups
- Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of VIP's, return guests, groups, etc.
- Provides personalized service to all VIP’s and SA guests.
- Responds properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Performs any other duties as assigned to him/her by management and is also able to work in all shifts
Candidates must have a firm knowledge of hotel or resort operations and must have 1 – 2 years of experience in the field. Candidates must speak read and write Thai as well as being fluent in English. Must have the right to work in Thailand.
