Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Document Controller in our Bangkok office.
This is your role. What part will you play?
The purpose of controlling and maintaining company records and files, a document controller's specific duties and responsibilities include performing documentation audits. Other job duties include checking for file name errors, making sure that all documents follow company policy guidelines and archiving files and records correctly.
The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Organize and maintain project documentation such as plans, drawings, and specifications, ensuring proper classification, storage, and retrieval in line with company procedures.
- Track and manage document workflows, including revisions, approvals, and distribution to stakeholders, while maintaining an up-to-date document register.
- Ensure consistency and compliance by controlling document templates, versioning, and references, and supporting audits and process improvements.
- Coordinate physical documentation tasks, including preparing hard copies and assisting with client submissions.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess documentation needs and provide basic training on document management systems.
Use your skills to move the world forward.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields.
- Knowledge of Electronic Documents Management System (EDMS) (e.g.: Aconex, SharePoint), PDF editing tools (e.g.: PDF-Xchange)
- Proficient in data visualization and reporting using Power BI
- Ability to collaborate with a multinational team and an international environment.
- Good command of English, both written & spoken skills.
